Welcome to the Possum Room.

This room consists of one room leader and three assistants.

Nellie   (room leader) Diploma in children’s services

Taryn (qualified) Diploma in Children's Services

Courtney (assistant) Cert 3 in Children's Services(Currently studying her Diploma in children's services.) Monday, Tuesday and Friday.

Di (assistant) currently studying

The Possum’s room is a 0-2 room catering for 15 children per day. We follow individual routines as well as a daily room routine depending on the requirements of the children. We work with an above ratio, which is one adult to four children instead of one to five.

The room leader plans for all the children’s individual needs and puts together a fortnightly plan that will cover the following areas:

Art and Sensory

Cognitive

Fine and Gross motor

Construction

Early Language skills and communication

Music and movement

Self help skills

Transitions

Outdoor area
